Austin, TX, January 26, 2012. WhaleShark Media, Inc. (www.whalesharkmedia.com) intends to combine CheapStingyBargains.com (www.cheapstingybargains.com) with its Deals2Buy.com (www.deals2buy.com) website effective January 26, 2012.
The decision follows the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue’s recent reinterpretation of an existing state statute related to sales tax nexus that could have an adverse impact on the operations of CheapStingyBargains.com as well as our merchant partners. In an effort to protect merchants and WhaleShark’s online coupons and deals websites from this reinterpretation, WhaleShark has decided to combine that deals and offers business with Deals2Buy.com, a similar website within its portfolio of online businesses.
Bargain hunters will still be able to find the same great deals and offers that have historically been available on CheapStingyBargains.com when going to Deals2Buy.com. WhaleShark will also combine the newsletter and email lists for the two websites so users of CheapStingyBargains.com will continue to receive exclusive offers and deals information from Deals2Buy.com. Users who wish to opt-out of emails from Deals2Buy.com can “unsubscribe” by following the instructions contained within each weekly email.
